Nokia launched new phones in Asha series, which are pre-installed with widespread social media apps like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Line and WeChat. These smartphones provide dual –SIM access for users and now available for sale in specific market.
Nokia is following the design of Asha 501 and give the same look of Asha 502 and 503 but improved attributes. The latest phones of Asha Series are covered with a transparent layer on the back for extra protection. Nokia made improvement in specifications as well as add some new apps also. The hardware is quite like the previous Asha series smartphones.
The devices are featuring the new fastlane user interface, UI brought everything to users like applications, widgets and features. New User Interface makes easy to use the device in comparison of earlier Asha series phones. Now everything is below your thumb and just away from a tap.
Dual –SIM ability and improved camera skills gave advantages to smartphones in marketplace as compare to other phones in same budget and features. The rear camera is of 5 megapixel with LED flash, will give a level of feeling for photography lovers.
In other specifications, both Asha 502 and 503 are equipped with 3-inch QVGA screen (240X320 pixels resolutions) and 64 MB RAM. The batteries of phones will provide the back-up, up to 500 hours of standby time, company claims. Asha 503 get a step ahead in the connectivity options, it get the 3.5G connectivity for better internet access speed, Asha 502 featured with only 2G connectivity.
Nokia shipped the phones in the market and now available for customers in selected market of Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Both smartphones come under the category of 'low-cost' smartphone because the device have get the price tag of $89 for Asha502 and $110 for Asha 503.
