According to report Asus Zenfone with the tag of second-gen may be unveiled in Consumer Electronics Show 2015. The company line up this handset to release at the show with a new 5.5-inch model. This device is no. fifth in family, before this Zenfone series have Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 (4.5-inch), Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5 (5.5-inch) and Zenfone 6.
The company have not clear the other features yet but Asus is said to be planning to focus on LTE models, so we can expect to see LTE –support in most of its model or all of the Zenfone line series. The company set the target of16 million devices to sell out in next year. The first device of Zenfone smartphones got the Android 4.4 update earlier this month. The first set of Zenfone smartphones are a massive success in India, mainly due to the reasonable price tag. It recently crossed 2 lakh devices sales in India. According to the report, Asus has shipped 7.5 to 8 million units of Zenfone 5 smartphones globally.
The Asus Zenphone are currently reach in the consumers of the countries Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Russia, Turkey.
Asus will launch the current Zenfone line-up in Brazil in this month, making it the first country in the Americas to get the Zenfone smartphones officially. The pricing or availability details are not leaked by the company but we hope to hear something from the company soon
