Kodak IM5: First smartphone from Kodak, get official at CES 2015

The first smartphone from Kodak is now unveiled at the CES 2015 trade fair in Las Vegas. The device named Kodak IM5 and hopefully will available in Q1 of 2015, in Europe followed by other markets. The device is manufactured by Bullitt for Kodak.

Coming on technical specifications the device will featured by a 5-inch HD display which will powered by 1.7GHz octa-core processor with 1 GB of RAM 8GB on board memory which can be expand through micro SD card. Rear camera contain 13 Megapixel with auto-focus and LED flash as well as a 5MP front shooter.

“This is a phone for consumers who appreciate the value and heritage of the Kodak brand. It looks great, is easy to use and offers real value for money,” said Oliver Schulte, CEO of Bullitt Mobile.

 The Kodak’s first device is not contain anything new and imaging function. However the device include an  image management software, which allows the users to quickly edit photographs, share on social media or print using a customized app compatible with home printers.

Kodak decide to lunch the device in two color variants Black and White. Kodak still made silence on pricing.
