Facebook today announced the launch of its new standalone Groups app. The app will available in Google Play. The new app is designed to aim the users, who spend a lot of time in Facebook groups. This app giving them a specifically for the determination.
Facebook said that ‘Groups’ application give access to all of the Groups that a user is a member of front and center. The ‘Groups’ permits the user to visit the other groups, share things, write the updates and checkout other members, get the notification, make new groups and get recommended groups.
Facebook wrote in a press note “Every month, 700 million people use Facebook Groups to stay in touch with family, collaborate on projects, plan trips and offer support to friends – and we built this app to help people share faster and more easily with all the groups in their life. With the Facebook Groups app, you can easily discuss, plan and collaborate – nothing gets lost in the shuffle of text messages or email, and you can choose how and when to receive notifications”.
If the user don’t want a standalone Group app, doesn't matter, Facebook has stated that Groups will still be accessible via the main app.
