First smartphone processor from the Korean Electronics company LG, unveiled on Friday, the processor named ‘Nuclun’ and based on ARM’s big LITTLE technology, the processor is an octa-core processor which have 1.5GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four and 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 cores. It also supports 4G LTE Cat connectivity.
Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said “Nuclun opens up a new chapter in LG’s history of innovation in the mobile industry. With this in-house solution, we will be able to achieve better vertical integration and further diversity our product strategy against stronger competition. Nuclun will give us greater flexibility in our mobile strategy going forward, Nuclun supports Heterogeneous processing, thus it can adjust the number of performing cores based on the requirements of the task for maximum processing power or maximum energy savings.”
LG also said that company will launch the processor with its next smartphone "LG G3 Screen", the smartphone will available in Korean market only, so it means some more wait for the left world for the processor.
The device “LG G3 Screen” will powered with Android 4.4 with a screen size of 5.9-inch full HD display. The smartphone will comes with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB on-board storage with a microSD card slot, it means user can expand the memory. For better power back-up 3000 mAh removable battery is also available. If you are a photography lover than a 13 GB rear camera with optical image stabilistation will defiantly impress you.
The will hit the Korean market in this week, no words about the other information like the price of device.
