From today onwards, LG announced about the release of its new mini smartphone i.e. LG G2 mini. Some online stores like Amazon are already fix the approx. price for the smartphone with all its specifications.

The device will be available in two version according to network i.e. with or without 3G support. Without 3G smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8926 chipset featuring a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. Beside these it also packs an Andreno 305 graphics unit to provide better picture quality.

Device is the LTE version of basic LG G2 mini which is designed specifically for Latin America with Nvidea Tegra 4i chipset having a quad-core processor with clock speed at 1.7 GHz. Another version is, also LTE enabled and without this clock speed, for Europe. The European version smartphone have all the features listed in earlier para.

European version of this smartphone offers LTE Cat.4 (150 mbps) with NFC (Near Field Communication), beside this Latin America offers LTE Cat.3 on 100 mbps and no NFC feature supports. Both the versions are same but having some technical differences.

European version supports 4.7 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 540 X 960 pixel resolution, on Gorilla glass 2 coating. Photo lovers will really like to hear about its 8 MP photo snapper having all the latest features i.e. autofocus, LED flash and of course full HD video recording. American version will have 13 MP camera having all these specs.

There are dual-SIM versions are also available in the market with 3G enabled functionality on 21 mbps speed. According to online stores the smartphone will be priced $480 and will be available to buy from today onwards for European Users.
