Display Link Driver release may be used on Display Link monitors on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and OS X 10.9 Mavericks. Display Link announced the release of its Driver 2.2 Beta version with some of the bug fixes and also improvements in display.
DisplayLink USB devices are the easiest way to add an additional monitor to a Mac. The previous version of this driver supports the USB video of all the USB docking station products. These driver provides you a cost-effective and simple way to connect MacBook devices with peripherals with a single USB 2.0 cable.
This Beta version resolved the earlier issue that was about flickering on DisplayLink screens including QuickTime and AppStore. This report is provided by the developers that this issue is resolved on 10.8 and 10.9.
