Panasonic officially declared the digital camera with 4K in-built video recording option, the device is first of its type. The camera was previewed in CES in last month with tag of ‘Lumix DMC-GH4’. The camera also a successor to the Panasonic famous GH3 model, which remains in company's line. The device could be available in market from April at the price of $1,300-$1,500.
The GH4 can shoot the video with both 3,840 x 2,160 and 4,096 x 2,160 pixel at 30 frames per second with a 100 Mbps bit rate. The device can also shoot the 4:2:2 video when it’s associated to an external video recording device. User can also adjust for 1080p at the 60, 30, 24 fps.
The GH4 featured with new 16-megapixel CMOS Micro Four thirds sensor which will help to improve picture quality as well. Device is equipped with a 3-inch "free angle" OLED screen with touch autofocus, and a 2360-dot OLED "live" viewfinder. The body of the device is made from magnesium alloy body which is splash and dustproof.
Company also claims that the shutter life of camera is 200,000, which is just double of the present industry average. The NFC and Wi-Fi are available as a connectivity option, two XLR microphone inputs are also occupy the space at the device.
