‘Toshiba’ step in wearable Technology: Unveil Move Band activity Tracker

Toshiba made entry in wearable device segment through the Move Band activity tracker, device is launched in Japan. The NTT Docomo is the telecom partner of Toshiba’s move band activity tracker, in Japan. The device now obtainable in Japanese market in 9576 Yen ($95).

The 22 gram device, use the Bluetooth 4.0 LE to connect with user’s smartphone. User can download the apps called WM, from Google Play or Appstore for iOS users. The device will comfortable with most of Android smartphones as well as iPhone.

The tracker are available in two color variant Green and Navy Black, the device is waterproof and will work for 4 to 5 days, once you get full charge the battery.

Toshiba made the following words in a press release "The wearable device market is expanding rapidly. Toshiba will continue to promote development work to secure a continuing lead in various types of sensors, data processing and cloud connectivity".

The device will calculate the distance traveled, calories burned, number of steps take, sleep time and many more.
