As I have previously specify, Amazon was going to be launched a next generation Kindle Fire HD tablet preserving the price much less in order to compete with the market. A lot of thrill is going to become a result now.
Leaked information reports, Webtrek (An Italian Publication) has published about two devices, first is Amazon Apollo (KFAPWA) and Amazon Thor which are likely to be 7-inch and 8.9-inch tablet respectively.
According to benchmark results, tablet includes features like 1920-by-1200 pixel display, quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 800 processor on chip with adreno 330 graphics and 4 Krait 400 CPUs which is an ARM-based CPU including dual-core configurations. It also support 2 GB of RAM as a primary memory.
This tablet also powered by the latest Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS having in-built bug fixes and performance enhancements. With 8 MP rear camera you can capture high-resolution moments of your life and a 2 MP front camera is also there for video calling. At the last but not least there are three storage options in the tablet – 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB.
All the internal specifications are same except 2560-by-1600 pixel high definition display and a snapdragon 800 SoC in 8.9” Kindle Fire HD tablet.
